AZ-Armaturen South Africa, a subsidiary of the German AZ Armaturen Group, is a Johannesburg based manufacturing plant where production and assembly for the African market is carried out. The consultants and service engineers for this economic area are likewise managed from Johannesburg.
Established in 1985, the company has been in production for more than 30 years.

AZ-Armaturen South Africa specialises in the production and refurbishment of all types of self-lubricating plug valves used in various industries, such as, chemical, petrochemical, pharma, paper and food industries.

AZ-Armaturen South Africa not only manufactures for South Africa but for the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa. The company manufactures their valves with a minimum local content of 70%. Furthermore, AZ-South Africa purchases most of their raw materials from South African manufacturers in turn allowing for shorter delivery times, high flexibility, job creation and skills development.
